The people that Cathy has photographed in shelters over the years have given her a gift that she has taken with her to enrich her own life.  They have shown her the significance of pulling together as a community in order to help one another in times of need.  She has also been touched by the graciousness of their spirit and their generosity in allowing her to photograph them.
